K-IIT celebrated 60 glorious years of educational excellence with Nav Utthaan. Themed Saath Varshon Ka Spandan, Anant Ka Aahwan, the celebration honoured the institution's enduring legacy of values and academic excellence.
Four student teams from K-IIT College of Engineering were selected for the Grand Finale of the AICTE Innovation, Design and Entrepreneurship (IDE) Bootcamp 2026, held from 20-24 April 2026. The IDE Bootcamp is a flagship initiative of AICTE and the Ministry of Education's Innovation Cell, designed to foster innovation, design thinking and entrepreneurial skills among student innovators across India.
Throughout the bootcamp, participants engaged in intensive mentoring sessions, innovation workshops, design-thinking exercises, business model development and startup-oriented activities aimed at transforming innovative ideas into impactful solutions. K-IIT College of Engineering emerged as the Winner Team at BHU University, the highest recognition at the Grand Finale.
K-IIT teams were among the standout finalists at Anveshana 2026, recognised for the creativity and technical brilliance of their projects.
Three K-IIT teams earned their place in the Grand Finale of Smart India Hackathon 2025, India's largest innovation and problem-solving platform, after clearing a nationwide field of student teams.
Jointly organised with the Acoustical Society of India, IISA 2025 brought more than 250 delegates from 23 countries to our Gurugram campus for three days of keynote lectures, paper presentations and workshops in acoustics and sound technology.
Held under the theme Acoustical Science and Technology for Quality of Life, sessions ranged from architectural acoustics and urban noise control to AI-driven audio systems for healthcare and smart cities, with support from the International Commission for Acoustics and the Acoustical Society of America.

At the National Kalam STEM and Quiz Conclave 2025, themed Vision for Space Mission, K-IIT students claimed 12 of the top 25 places in Idea Presentation, including the 1st and 3rd positions.
At the AICTE-sponsored Innovation, Design and Entrepreneurship (IDE) Bootcamp 2025, six K-IIT teams were selected for the national final round held across India, recognised for the feasibility, social impact and entrepreneurial potential of their projects.
